After meeting on a bench at a flat viewing in 2016, something clicked and a true brotherlike friendship was formed.

Originally hailing from Germany, Nico spent 14 years rising through the ranks of cheffing all the way through to being head chef.
Nico is an avid mountain biker and enjoys the odd gravel ride.
Although relatively new to the industry, Nico’s exceptional attention to detail, willingness to learn and undeniable passion for bikes make him an incredible mechanic. Plus, Germans are natural engineers right?

Liam started out as a bike mechanic in Gisborne, back in 2014. After working in Gisborne, he moved to Wellington where he learned to build high-end custom wheels at Wheelworks. He then moved to Capital Cycles as Head Mechanic.
Liam started Leeroy Wheels in 2022 and is well-known in the bike industry for his experience, skill, and attention to detail.
